1940s 14k White Gold .32 CTW Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring with Squared Floral Mount

1940s 14k White Gold .32 CTW Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring with Squared Floral Mount

In every way a classic 1940s-era engagement ring, this beauty boasts an incredibly bright center diamond, mounted in a square setting accentuated by four corner prongs. The center setting resembles a flower, the diamond its center, with eight petal forms radiating from around the stone. The flower is made geometric by four beads at each corner, giving the setting a more prominent feel. The shoulders feature two side diamonds as well, both set by prongs within a pointed mount on either end.

The center and side diamonds sandwich two engraved details that are meant to catch the light like diamonds would, but are, indeed, 14k gold components. The carriage of the face of the ring is latticed, with reticulated moments into which light passes and refracts light from the fiery diamonds. These characteristics ensure a lovely view from all angles, and make the ring a perfect addition to any collection of bands, and ideal for a classic take on the timeless simplicity of a solitaire.
