Art Deco Style 14k White Gold Half Eternity Diamond Filigree Wedding Band

Art Deco Style 14k White Gold Half Eternity Diamond Filigree Wedding Band

This Art Deco style wedding band is made of 14k white gold modeled filigree and features a row of eleven brilliant diamonds channel-set across the face of the ring. This half eternity design allows for the eye to travel between the stones and the filigree, which complement each other in sophisticated detail. Normally, half eternity wedding bands are comprised of single cut diamonds, a simplified faceting system that offers ample refraction for a lower cost. This ring, however, is unique in that the stones are each intricately faceted round brilliant cut diamonds, the same cut commonly used for the central diamonds of modern engagement rings. The stones’ complexity and clarity increase their value and radiance.

The band’s top and shoulders boast open filigree work that sturdier in appearance and construction than Art Deco filigree of the 1920s and 1930s. This ring’s robust design makes it a much more durable option than older styles. The shank is thick as well, nearly doubling the weight of gold of most wedding bands of its size, which contributes to its nearly five gram weight. The interior of the shank bears the maker’s stamp “MBM” coupled with an engraving that reads “LOVE J”, presuming the original giver of the ring is “J”. This ring’s immense beauty makes it a great option as an alternative engagement ring, and it stacks beautifully with other rings as well, making it an ideal anniversary gift or addition to any set of your favorite jewels.
